P3 - Days 4 and 5

Weight -
Day 4 - 189.0
Day 5 - 189.6

Friday was a challenging day for P3.  I have a lot going on professionally, which is good stuff for a sales guy ($$$).  Yesterday, I had to attend an all day meeting with my business partners.  We have these once a quarter.  A short meeting takes place and then the rest of the day is spent in socializing and entertainment.  This thing started at noon and went until around 6 PM.

I wanted to pack a lunch because you never know exactly what the menu will be for a catered event.  The problem was, I had a lot to do before I left and I ended up running late.  So, no lunch packed.  The lunch provided was typical sandwich choices, tomato soup, garden salad, pasta and potato salad, brownies, etc.....  Fortunately, they offered several types of meat on a tray to build your own sandwich.

I ate some turkey, roast beef, and some corned beef.  I had some tomato soup and a salad with no dressing.  I'm sure the corned beef and tomato soup had a bit of sugar in it but....not enough that I worried about it.

After the event, I met some friends at an Irish pub. I had a long drive home and decided to break it up.  I was really hungry around this point.  Not much on the menu that fit the plan but....I needed food and home was about an hour away.  They had a prime rib sandwich on the menu.  I got that sans the bread and had them steam me some veggies instead of fries.  Pretty good!

Had a nice cigar in the cigar bar across the street and headed home.  Corona Co. Cigar bar is a great place but....if you ever go, stay clear of their wine. They are very proud of their prices!  2 fingers for like $9.50 for some Pinot Noir that I've never heard of.  Still, if you like an occasional cigar, cant beat the selection and the atmosphere.

Saturday -
Wow, what a come from behind win by my beloved Louisville Cardinals.  Down 18 (yep, 18) with 5:29 left in the game and came back to win by 1 over a good (but much hated, in fact, my second most hated team) Marquette team.  They just beat themselves for most of the game.  Didn't guard the out of bounds properly and created easy fouls and buckets, got playing too fast and made dumb turnovers.  But man, something lit into them at the 5:29 mark (as I was about ready to go do something else) and they went on a 15-0 run.  That brought the fans back into the game and the finish was so exciting.

I was happy to see the come back, but, I still thought we'd lose by a couple.  Not today!  In our games with Marquette throughout the years, one team always has it's heart broken somehow as the games are tough and close.  But, to have a team by the throat with 5:29 to play and give up the win...that might haunt them for some time to come.  Great game, GO CARDS!
